Teen Boy Bedroom

This room redesign was to transform a toddler room into a space for a growing teenager. It was paramount to inject the child’s personality into the room and think about it being timeless for the years ahead. The first decision was the promotion from a single bed to a kingsize bed which was very well received! A study area and desk were also stipulated and the use of the alcove made the perfect space for this.

Quirky extras were added through using the child’s own artwork display and keeping with a ‘spherical’ theme by choosing a desk ‘egg’ chair and globe desk lighting. A dark colour was used on the walls with pops of colour added through new bedside lockers, furniture and accessories.
